The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Macy is grieving the loss of her father. Her mother is so busy with her business that she doesn’t take time with Macy. Her boyfriend is away at “brain camp.” Macy is lonely and even her job at the library proves to be hard when her coworkers don’t accept her. She meets the people from Wish Catering and her life changes, especially when she befriends beautiful Wes. She starts working with Wish Catering and makes true friends that help her deal with her grief and she realizes how she can’t hide from the loss of her father.
I love this book, one of my favorites from Sarah Dessen. I always love teen romance but I love how realistic the relationship is between Macy and Wes. Macy is a strong girl and I love how she stands up for herself in the story.
My favorite character is Wes. He is an artist that had bad things happen to him and he decided to get his life together.
This book is ideal for teenage girls and adult women who love romance and strong girls.
